About the role:

Our client in the balustrade industry is growing and now requires a project coordinator to support their project manager and project team. 
This is a great opportunity for the right person looking for a busy and challenging role. Immediate start. 
Your Project Coordinator role will require you to:
  • Have an excellent understanding of construction projects, timelines, expenditure, Gant charts, material forecasting and ordering
  • Data entry experience in CRM logging and tracking
  • Set up and maintenance of project job files, drawing and contract registers, shop drawings, in-house details drawings. 
  • Project Costing expenditure tracking – budget vs actual
  • Process & reporting of claims (progress & variation) in line with contract documentation obligations. 
  • Follow up of claims, payment summaries
  • any other general duties as requested by the project manager

To be successful you will need:

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with a CRM software program or similar
  • Work well within a team environment
  • Experience taking direction and liaising with the project team to ensure all information is collated and reported in a timely manner
  • Highly motivated and driven with a keen attention for detail and accuracy
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven willingness to learn and improve
